This Blair, NE project was a full 16×16 deck rebuild, replacing an elevated deck roughly 6 feet off the ground. We rebuilt the structure using pressure-treated pine for long-term durability and added a custom treated pine railing to match the deck and improve safety. Given the height and load requirements, the deck was supported with 6×6 posts and double 2×12 beams for strength, stiffness, and a solid feel underfoot. The result is a clean, sturdy elevated deck built to handle daily use and Nebraska weather.
