This Omaha deck remodel started with the removal of an old, decaying deck that had reached the end of its useful life. The existing structure was torn out and replaced with a new outdoor living space designed for better durability, cleaner appearance, and more comfortable everyday use.

The new deck was built with composite deck boards for a low-maintenance deck surface, along with cedar framing, white railing, and white deck trim for a bright, finished look. The combination of warm cedar, clean white railing, and composite decking gave the project a fresh, upgraded appearance while improving long-term performance.

We also built a covered deck structure using cedar posts that support both the deck and the roof cover. The cover was framed with cedar and finished with clear roof panels, allowing natural light to come through while adding protection from rain and direct overhead exposure.

The finished project transformed a worn-out deck into a more useful backyard space with composite decking, cedar framing, white railing, and a covered outdoor area that can be enjoyed in more weather conditions.
